As year draws to a close, in the middle of the Christmas Season, it is timely and appropriate to pause and consider our many blessings: family, home, health, friendship, worldly blessings. Christmas is a time of joy as we anticipate the birth of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Christmas is also a time when we can express our faith and make a return to God of His many blessings through a Special Christmas or Year End Gift to St. Polycarp Church. Think of a Christmas gift to St. Polycarp as an investment in the Good Works and Mission of the Church. Our parish provides a remarkable number of educational and parish ministries. Your generosity allows these programs to flourish and a generous Christmas or Year End Gift can also be of benefit as the 2018 tax year draws to a close, some areas we suggest you consider giving to; Parish Upgrades, our Capital Campaign, or just make a General Donation. Please remember, gifts must be postmarked or received on or before December 31, 2018, in order to qualify as a charitable deduction.  You can also make a donation online up until 11:59 pm December 31st. 
   
Charitable IRA Distribution
If you are over 70 ½ years old and have an IRA, you can reduce your taxable income by making a charitable distribution (aka Charitable IRA Rollover) directly to the parish. Please contact your IRA brokerage representative.

The Joy of Christmas: Dinner and Concert will be held on Friday, December 21st at 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall. Tickets are $40 per person, or reserve a table of 8 for $320.
