Here are this weekend’s announcements,

1. In observance of Independence Day, we will only have the 8:30 AM Mass on Friday, July 4th.  No Adoration hour and no Confession after 8:30 AM.  There will be no 6:30 am English Mass or 6:30 pm Vietnamese Mass.  Our parish office will be closed on Friday, July 4th, and we will reopen on Sunday, July 6th.  

2. With our deepest sympathy from the Clergy and the parishioners at St. Polycarp to Pat Casey and her family for the loss of her husband, John Casey.  May she get through this difficult time through prayers and the comfort of friends.  The Vigil service will be held on July 9th at 6:00 pm at Dimond and Shannon Mortuary located at 10630 Chapman Avenue, Garden Grove.  Please join us for a celebration of life in loving memory of John Casey, at our Church for the memorial Mass on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 12 noon.

3. Please pray for our children’s summer camp program as they will start to embark on an epic journey in our Summer Day Camp. We have prepared an action-packed week filled with thrilling outdoor expeditions, creating challenges, and finding new friendships, all in the context of deepening our Faith in the God who never fails to love us. The program begins at 9 a.m., Monday, July 7th, and ends by Friday, 7/11/2025 at 8 p.m.

4. Volunteer your time and talents, and get involved. Our Fiesta 2025 general meeting is held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall. There are many things that you can do to help our Fiesta. You can help pick up the trash, coordinate traffic in our parking lot, or join one of the many food booths to serve at the Fiesta. Spread the word, introduce our event to the local vendors to sponsor our event. The sponsor form is posted on our website and in our bulletin.
