In observance of Independence Day, our parish office will be closed on Friday, July 3. We will reopen on Sunday, July 5. No 6:30 a.m. Mass. No confession hour/only Adoration hour. We still have 8:30 am English Mass and 6:30 pm Vietnamese Mass. Together, let us pray: “Lord of all nations, we thank You for the blessings of freedom we enjoy today. May our vision remain clear and our will remain strong, so that we may always use our liberty to seek justice, protect the dignity of every human life, and promote the common good. Welcome and Reception for Fr. Francis Ang
This weekend, the first weekend of July, we will officially welcome Fr. Francis Ang, who has been serving with us since January as a deacon. A small welcome reception will be held following the 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses on Sunday, 7/5/2026. We will also celebrate Sr. MaryAnne’s final profession with a reception after the 4:00 p.m. Mass. Please join us in congratulating and supporting her on this special occasion. Regarding our new clergy and religious assignments, Sr. Silvia Frias will join our parish in mid-July, and Fr. Jaime Hernandez will arrive in early August.
2026 Talent Show
This year’s talent show, “Blast from the Past”, is on Friday, August 21st at 6 pm. To RSVP or audition, please scan the QR code on the fliers found at the church entrances. Auditions will be next Sunday, July 12th, and Sunday, July 19th, in Room 18 at the school. For more information, contact our music director at karaford@stpolycarp.org.
Fiesta 2026 Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets are now available to support our Fiesta 2026! $2.00 per ticket Special Promotion (through August 15): Purchase a booklet of 10 tickets for $20.00 and receive 5 additional tickets FREE, giving you more chances to win our $2,500 Grand Prize! After August 15, this special promotion will end, and our regular offer of one free ticket with the purchase of each booklet of 10 tickets will resume. 🎬 Parish Family Movie Night is Back! 🍿
Join us as we bring back Parish Family Movie Night for our community! We’ll be gathering on Mondays, July 6, 13, and 20, 2026, at 7:30 PM in the school area for three fun-filled evenings of family-friendly movies, fellowship, and summer fun. We hope to see everyone there as we enjoy great movies, strengthen our community, and spend quality time together this summer. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and understanding. First Holy Communion Registration
The Registration for First Holy Communion is now open. If your child is ready to begin preparation, please visit the Parish Front Office to pick up an application.
OCIA Registration (Children & Adults)
If you have a child over the age of 7 who is not baptized, or if you are an adult (18 or older) who has not received Baptism, First Communion, or Confirmation, registration for the OCIA program is now open. Applications are available in the Parish Front Office.
Save the Date – Fiesta 2026
Our 2026 Fiesta preparations are now underway! Please mark your calendars for September 11, 12, and 13, 2026, as we celebrate our annual Fiesta weekend. Our first general volunteer meeting will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM in the Parish Hall. We invite everyone to come and share their talents, time, and dedication in helping make this year’s Fiesta a success. We need volunteers in all areas, including the cleaning crews, the Setup and takedown of canopies and equipment, and the Food preparation and service teams. Our authentic family cooking team especially welcomes additional helping hands to prepare the delicious dishes that our parishioners and guests enjoy each year.
